Elena La Manna

Vice President, Global DBS Leader

Elena La Manna is Vice President, Global DBS Leader at Cepheid. In this role, she leads the deployment and continuous evolution of the Danaher Business System (DBS) across the enterprise, driving operational excellence, capability building, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. She partners closely with Cepheid's leadership team to accelerate business performance, strengthen innovation processes, and improve the effectiveness and speed of new product development.

Elena brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience spanning diagnostics, life sciences, next-generation sequencing, analytical instrumentation, consumer products, and media. Throughout her career, she has successfully led complex business transformations, developed high-performing global teams, and implemented scalable operating models that drive sustainable growth and customer impact.

Prior to her current role, Elena served as Vice President, Portfolio & Program Management Office at Cepheid, where she strengthened innovation portfolio governance and helped accelerate new product development timelines through enterprise velocity initiatives. She has also held senior leadership positions in Finance, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Corporate Transformation, Strategy, and Portfolio Management at Cepheid, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Fluidigm, Pacific Biosciences, Agilent Technologies, and Treasury Wine Estates.
